Day of the Dead
Day of the Dead is a celebration that mostly hispanics celebrate. It is based on celebrating our dead loved ones letting them know that they aren't forgiven. My family doesn't celebrate this holiday because we don't have anyone close that has died. My dads mom died when he was about 8 years old, and my moms grandmother died as well but my parents don't really celebrate this holiday. Whenever they have the chance to go to Mexico they go visit them but meanwhile they don't even celebrate this holiday for them. I once celebrated this holiday when I was living in Mexico. We celebrated this at school all of the family of the children brought pictures of their loved ones that passed away and also brought food, sugar skulls, and candles. It is very fun to celebrate this holiday.
